About Us

THE FRIENDS OF THE PARKS IN AVON LAKE INC is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing parks and recreational spaces throughout Avon Lake, Ohio.

Established in 1994, the organization works in partnership with Avon Lake Parks & Recreation to help strengthen and enrich the community’s parks through advocacy, fundraising, sponsorships, and community support initiatives.

Funds raised through donations, sponsorships, and community efforts help support park enhancements, recreational opportunities, beautification projects, and future improvements that benefit residents and visitors alike.

Our mission is to help preserve and enhance Avon Lake’s parks and public spaces for current and future generations while fostering community pride, connection, and outdoor recreation opportunities.

Through collaboration and community involvement, Friends of the Parks aims to create lasting impact and continued investment in the places that bring our community together.
